The North Yorkshire Centre is one of a number of geographically based centres who operate as part of the Caravan Club. Formed in 1965 the Centre covers the North Yorkshire Moors, ‘Heartbeat Country’, from the Tees to the Ouse at York, from the A1 to the Yorkshire Coast of Whitby, Scarborough and Filey.
Centres exist to provide Caravan Club members with inexpensive caravanning (weekend rally fees can be as little as £7.00) as well as an opportunity to meet like minded people.
As one of the larger centres, our area covers some of the most beautiful countryside in the UK, and attending a North Yorkshire rally gives access to the heart of it.
We run rallies on most weekends from February through to November with weekday and holiday rallies throughout the year. A limited programme is provided during the winter months. Venues vary from simple farm fields to fully equipped sites and cater for everyone from large families to older couples.
If you haven’t tried it yet and want to get more from your caravan, join us on the rally field where you will find a warm Yorkshire welcome.
If you want to find out what rallying with the North Yorkshire Centre is really like, Read the Rally reports and see pictures from our rallies in the Gallery.
Rallies are open only to members of the Caravan Club. If you are not a member, Registration with a centre is open to all Caravan Club members free of charge and on registration with North Yorkshire you will receive a programme of events giving full details of all our rallies and other activities.
