Wensleydale Creamery Visitor Centre incorporates a museum, viewing gallery, specialist cheese shop, 1897 Coffee shop and fully licensed restaurant. Wensleydale cheese has been made in Wensleydale since 1150, when Cistercian monks settled in the dale.
