Richmond North Yorkshire swimming pool : North Yorkshire

Richmondshire Leisure Trust is responsible for managing the 2 swimming pools – a main pool and a learner pool. The main pool is 25m in length and 12.5m wide with depths ranging from 0.9m in the shallow end to 1.8m in the deep end. The learners’ pool is 12m long and 8m wide with depths ranging from 0.5m to 0.8m Both pools are maintained at a temperature of 30 degrees.

For non-swimmers or those watching their children leaning to swim there is a viewing platform with a drinks and snack bar.

There is excellent disabled access which includes a pool hoist, ramps and disabled changing and toilet facilities.

The Richmondshire Leisure Trust also runs the Liberty Gym and Health Club which is adjacent to the Swimming Pool. Dual use tickets are available.

Richmond School Sports Complex - Richmond Community Sports

Richmond School is responsible for running all the sports facilities on site both inside and outside of school hours.

Facilities available to hire include a 6 court indoor sports hall, a dance studio, an Astroturf pitch, 4 floodlit tennis courts and a fitness suite.

The school currently hosts Taekwondo, Basketball, Badminton, Football, Tennis, Table Tennis, mixed martial arts, Yoga, Pilates, dance, Irish dancing, Hockey, Rugby, Cricket and Netball.
