Yorkshire Cottage Rentals

Set in the beautiful grounds of The Grange, the Stable Cottage has been tastefully decorated and finished to a high standard, retaining many original features such as oak beams and stone-flag flooring.

The cottage has a twin, a double and a sofa-bed in the living room, all situated on the ground-floor. Oil central heating and a log-burner with complimentary logs. Towels and linen provided.

There are two other cottages in the courtyard which both sleep six and one adjacent to the house which sleeps two, meaning that we can accommodate up to 20 people, great for large extended families.

Guests have the use of the large, landscaped gardens with ponds, waterfalls and river frontage, plus private fishing for free & a surf-board for the kids.

The quaint village of West Burton in which these cottages are situated nestles in the Walden Valley among the beautiful Wensleydale countryside, and is well known as one of the loveliest villages in the Dales with a large village green, market cross, Burton Force waterfall and no through traffic; it has a truly traditional feel with a shop and a pub serving food (600 yards).

An excellent base for touring throughout the Yorkshire Dales, with the bustling market towns of Hawes and Leyburn only 10 miles. Bolton Castle, the Black Sheep Brewery and The Wensleydale Creamery are all within easy reach. For the walker, there is easy access from the village onto open moors and fells.

We offer 3, 4 and 7 day bookings. 3 days- Friday to Monday. 4 Days Monday to Friday. Week booking- Saturday to Saturday.

Early check-in can be arranged. Online groceries able to be delivered to the property. Pet friendly. No smoking inside.
