Houses to rent Yorkshire Dales

(Christmas bookings available from November.)

The cottage has undergone some recent renovations (Oct '14-Sep '15) and boasts wonderful views down the dale.

There are 2 bedrooms for your use, each with a double bed, and a bathroom shared between the two. Comfortable lounge with log burning stove and SMART HD TV. A well equipped SMEG fitted kitchen, with induction hob, dishwasher and ability to seat 4.

The cottage is an actual 'home' rather than a holiday cottage and the atmosphere reflects that. For that reason we're not keen on heavily partying tenants!

We heat the house and water with a state of the art Biomas Wood Pellet boiler, so if you're into environmentally friendly holidays, this can comply!

Nightly bookings are not really my thing, so I request a minimum of 3 nights. Prices vary according to length of stay and discounts are given for stays of 7 nights plus.

The Neighbourhood

Set at the top of the beautiful village of Burnsall, in the heart of Wharfedale, the cottage sits up a private lane opposite the stunning church of St Wilfrid which dates back to Saxon times.

Burnsall has two pubs and a shop, and is surrounded by some of the best walking, caving, climbing and cycling in the country. The most special pubs in the county are very close by.

Getting Around

Easy access to local towns by car: Grassington 8mins, Skipton 20mins, Ilkley 25mins, Harrogate 35mins, Leeds/Bradford 1hr. Located 50mins from Leeds-Brad airport. A basic bus service exists which means access only by public transport is possible with planning.
