About Eighteen97 B&B Accommodation
Welcome to Eighteen97 Bed and Breakfast in Goathland. Situated in the heart of the North Yorkshire Moors National Park, our charming period property has been lovingly restored to offer luxurious accommodation perfect for adults. Eighteen97 was originally built as a holiday home for the German classical pianist, Christian Gotlieb Padel, and his initials are still inscribed above the door along with the date of construction.
Set in one acre of peaceful gardens, our quintessential B&B affords wonderful views over the moorland and we aim to provide the same luxurious comfort and extra special touches normally only found in boutique hotels. Our three ensuite guest rooms are each named after a classical composer and furnished in an individual style in keeping with the heritage of our nineteenth century house.
Bedrooms / Bathrooms
The Elgar Room is our master room with king-size bed and comfortable seating area with sofa. Enjoy the panoramic view over the moorland from the picture window and access to a spacious ensuite bathroom with deep bath and separate shower cubicle.
The Vivaldi Room is furnished in a more flamboyant Italian style and features a beautiful silver console dressing table, ornate mirror and a king-size upholstered bed dressed in aubergine velvet. This room looks out over the garden and has an ensuite with large shower cubicle.
The Ravel Room with views across the garden, is furnished in a French country style with vintage floral peony fabrics. A kingsize whitewashed bed invites you and there is an super indulgent gilt and white marble dressing table. Your ensuite compliments with a large walk-in shower cubicle finished in cool travertine and white porcelain.
